The Burgundy Pinot Noir vineyards we cultivate belong to Marie Pierre and François Mikulski They cover a total area of 1.30 hectares. The first was planted in 1929 and the second in 1980.
Their vines are 100% Pinot Noir.
Annual production: around 6,000 bottles.
The vines are cultivated using non-certified organic methods.
The subsoil consists of fine alluvial river sediment, which is common on the lower part of the slope.
The vintage is aged in oak barrels for about 10 months, then drawn off and put in tanks for 2 months before bottling.
We advise ageing these bottles for a while (4 to 5 years).
This is a wine for drinking as an accompaniment to grilled meats.
Tasting
Raphael GIMENEZ-FAUVETY ‘s tasting notes – Retailer ; “De Corps et d’Esprit” in Paris
Pale garnet robe, with more light here. A discreet but elegant nose; the sweetness of red and black fruits that are closer to coulis than jam; pretty red and black flowers, including peonies, emblematic of the terroir; delicate chocolate notes, somewhere between ganache and chocolate truffles; blackberries and blueberries; raspberry; crème fraîche with red fruits; raspberry and/or strawberry tartlets; red fruit ice cream with a note of mint; morello cherries.
Palate has a silky mouthfeel; a lot of delicacy and charm in this bottle; generous and expressive fruit; peppery cherry, excited by wonderful acidity; redcurrant; intense pink and black pepper; various varieties of cranberry; notes of blood orange; peppery marmalade; juice; generosity; a living, active wine; the classic bloody note from the terroir; raw red meat. A small note of grey shallots and red onions, which do not hamper the pairings below; beautiful energy; perfect balance.
An intense, tight, extremely precise finish; very ripe tannins; almost imperceptible maturation; leather; it remains sapid; the acidity gives length to this convincing wine. Two years will be enough to bring out the best in a steak tartare; four or five for a rib eye or onglet steak, served rare; seven or eight for roast duck.

Robe of a light garnet. Soft and harmonious nose – sour cherries and plums; black fruit jelly with a mix of blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry; sweet spices with touches of cinnamon, brown sugar and curcuma; sweetness and poetry; a dwindling note of peony, tulip stem and geranium shoots; a hint of soot from the hearth; steamed pink-brown button mushrooms; a touch of violet – a lot of charm.
Full-bodied on the palate – easy to drink, tender and silky mouthfeel; tannins so ripe that their presence is hardly felt; the gradual increase of peppers – white pepper at first; a hint of root ginger and black radish; coriander seeds; cooked peppery verbena; Coeur de Boeuf tomato jam.
Energetic finish; spicy, sharper and with more tension than might be expected; wonderful length marked by spices and marinated herbs, mint, peppery verbena and coriander.
Farmer’s pâté, parsleyed ham, assortment of cold meats, thrush terrine with juniper; and, because of the soft tannins, you could venture – without even laying this wine down – towards meurette-style eggs. 89–90.
Raphael GIMENEZ-FAUVETY ‘s tasting notes – Retailer ; “De Corps et d’Esprit” in Paris
Purity of fruit and light from within, this Bourgogne illuminates; brilliant sensuality. Tulips and peonies; black cherries, full of juice, and perfectly ripe plums, blackberries and blackcurrants, raspberries in coulis, a slight smoky note, soot from the hearth and fat from game birds; roast duck, Peking-style; a touch of cinnamon and irresistible sweetness; very charming! This is close to a Pommard village.
The peppery fruit explodes on the palate; all the fruits described on the nose are present – and more; we should add sour cherry; peppercorns, especially black; cloves, blackcurrant and blackberry leaves; the energy and intensity of the fruit increases; it expresses itself constantly; the spicy dimension makes progress on the palate; here too we shouldn’t hesitate to consume with food.
Long and focused like never before, more than perfect tannins, great, really persistent length. Try with meurette-style eggs at least, but preferably with two-apple black pudding or even a piece of barbecued meat.

It’s got all the signs of a Pinot. And Côte d’Or is written right there, next to the word Bourgogne; yet you would swear you’re in the Côte Chalonnaise – Givry, to be even more precise… Cherry, eucalyptus, blackberry jelly, pink berries, and a peony–tulip cocktail; this has all the characteristics of a wine that comes from there. The palate, with its flavours of cherries, of blood oranges like you’ve never experienced, of resin, bark and fresh groves, also reminds you of the green bucolic Côte Chalonnaise; and notes of blueberry jam, red plum, and the wonderful juice of good humour.
This Burgundy – easy, elastic, expressive, with tannins as soft as a lamb, can be enjoyed whenever you choose. Drink with parsleyed ham, quail or fried spring chicken with peas; but be careful – the level of the wine in the bottle may descend rather quickly.

The body needs no comment, but let’s say a few anyway: Density, light, sparkle, it’s going to start at top speed and we’re going to stay there until the very last drop. Very fruity, raspberry, black cherry, blueberry, blackberry jam and a hint of blackcurrant, cane sugar, fine sweet spices, nutmeg and cinnamon. The palate is naturally confusing, a lot of fruit again, very ripe raspberry and strawberry, blackcurrant and blackberry leaf, dense, concentrated but never heavy, you can’t drink buckets of it however like the 99, the finish is full, tight but never hard, the fruit inhabits the entire finish to the very last jolts of the wine, a note of brown fruit shows up at the very end, between plum and damsons with a hint of laurel and mint.
Raphael GIMENEZ-FAUVETY ‘s tasting notes – Retailer ; “De Corps et d’Esprit” in Paris
Charm and sensuality, candied red fruits, raspberry, cherry and wild strawberry or mara des bois, honey, veal juice, flowers-white carnations, white rose, churned butter, red fruit jelly and a note very similar to the apricot. In a juicy palate with easy, flexible tannins, cherry and redcurrant come forward but the pepper makes the wine more spicy than originally expected. The persistence stretches the wine very naturally, it can be drunk and its finish displays a strong hint of Szechuan pepper, close to chilli, enhancing a roast chicken with peas.
